Follow this step to do replication.

Database Server Info: SQL Server 2005 Instance:Bhavu
                                : SQL Server 2008\R2 Instance:Bhavu\R2


1.Connect to SQL Server 2005.

2.Create Distributor.

Go to SSMS_2005-->Replication-->Configure Distribution.









Use UNC Path for Snapshot.

\\192.168.0.242\Database Backup\RepData

















Wait for Process Completion.




2.Create Publisher.

Go to SSMS_2005-->Replication-->New Replication-->

..


Select Database to publish.






Select Publication Type.This is the Snapshot Publication.




Select Articles (Objects) that need to Publish












Schedule Snapshot agent.




















Wait for Process Completion.




3.Create Subscriber.

Go to SSMS_2008\R2-->Replication-->Local Subscription






































Wait for Porcess Completion.
