Prerequisite for Reporting Services.
At Installation time of SQL Server,Click to reporting Services.
Check Reporting Services details by Databases named ReportServer$sql2005 and ReportServer$sql2005TempDB
Check the Services named SQL Server Reporting Services.It should be on running mode.
Reporting Server should be configured.
Go to Start -->Run inetmgr Command to go IIS Manager Services.
Check Report Server in Default Website.
If it is not present then 1st step to create it.
Go to Start-->Programs-->Microsoft SQL Server 2005-->Configuration Tools-->Reporting Services Configuration
Find Server/Instance.
Connect.
Go to Report Server Virtual Directory Settings.
Click New to Create new virtual directory.
Check all status with green colored symbol.
Following steps will create Reports in Report Server by Report Designer.
1.Go to Start-->Programs-->Microsoft SQL Server 2005-->SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio
Go to File-->New-->Project(Ctrl+Shift+N).
Select Business Intelligence Projects-->Report Server Project Wizard.
Select Datasource
Click Edit to Select SQL Server Database.
Select Server
Provide Username/Password.
Select Database.
Test Connection.
Click Ok.
Click on Credentials-->Provide server username/password or use windows authentication.
Click Next-->Paste Report Queries.
Click Next window and tick accroding to requirement.
Put into Details/Group/Page as per report requirement.
2.Deploy Report to IIS Server.
Go to Project-->Report Project2 Properties.
For local server where reporting services reside then TargetServerURL like http://localhost/ReportServer.
Go to Build-->Deploy Report Project2
Wait for the project deployment project.
Check Build Succeeded Status.
